Welcome to South Sutton Ballet School
The South Sutton Ballet School was founded in April 2015 by Rebecca Fearn LRAD, ARAD. It is a dance school based in Belmont, Sutton with a passion and enjoyment for ballet and all forms of dance at its heart. The school follows the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus which allows students to attain a well-rounded dance education and caters to all abilities. At the South Sutton Ballet School, we aim to provide a high standard of technical teaching (that is inclusive of all abilities and ages) in an enthusiastic, enjoyable and friendly setting. Rest assured that all students will be encouraged to reach their full potential with key transferable skills which will set them up for life!

I only have fond memories of my time at South Sutton ballet school. I would look forward to my classes every week as a way to channel the stresses of school and daily life through dance. The teachers are friendly and encouraging and it’s a lovely environment to learn and develop in. As well as being able to develop our technique, we were also able to develop our creative skills through lessons centred around choreography. I feel I was able to grow my confidence from my time at the ballet school. I have made friendships for life and it is more than just a school, it is a family.

Becci's adult ballet classes are a great mix of fun, technique and expression. They're really friendly and welcoming; and I always feel like I'm being challenged to improve in a safe space. I would really recommend the classes to everyone, whether you've danced before or not!

My daughter has really enjoyed classes with South Sutton Ballet school for many years. She has always valued the friendships made between members and looked forward to weekly lessons.
The teaching from Miss Becci and Miss Lizzie for each grade has always been of a high standard and following the RAD syllabuses. The exams taken at the RAD in Battersea were a highlight and included Miss Becci helping the students with their hair and invaluable last minute lessons.
I also started attending adult ballet classes 8 years ago and have really enjoyed them too. The lessons are informal, fun and friendly and include adults with varying abilities. We particularly enjoy the wide range of music played and often sing along!
I would wholeheartedly recommend South Sutton Ballet school to anyone who has a child wanting to learn or who wants to learn themselves. They would all get a warm welcome as we do every week!

My daughter loves attending ballet, Miss Becci and the teachers are absolutely amazing they encourage her and have given her a talent that she holds so much pride in. I have seen her confidence go up with every class she attends and she really enjoys the company of the other pupils too. The venue has good transport links, I am really glad I picked this ballet school for my daughter to attend.

My little girl has been doing ballet with Miss Becci since she was 3 and she absolutely loves it. Miss Becci is an excellent teacher and in every lesson the little ones go on an adventure with a different theme which they love. Miss Becci is brilliant with the children! I couldn't ask for a more lovely ballet school and would recommend these classes to anyone.

South Sutton Ballet School has been a really pivotal point in my dance training, with my love for dance growing every time I step into my ballet classes. The atmosphere is incredible, with everyone being made to feel comfortable while there's still a great focus on improving classical technique and performance. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to improve their ballet or to begin their ballet journey!
